Local School Council
The LaSalle Language Academy Local School Council is the site based management team for our school. The LSC is charged with three main duties:

• Approval of the school annual operating budget
• Development and monitoring of the School Improvement Plan for Academic Achievement
• Evaluation and selection of the school principal

The LSC provides all stakeholders: parents, administration, faculty and concerned members of the community with an opportunity to directly participate in the development and implementation of vital school policy. The LSC typically meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 5:30 PM in the school building. However, as certain dates may change, please check the schedule on the LaSalle website and at the main entrance hall of the school.

The composition of the LSC consists of eleven voting members: six parent representatives, two community representatives, two faculty representatives and the principal. LSC members (except the principal) are elected by members of their peer group in the second semester on Report Card Pick Up Day in April of every even numbered school year. Parent, faculty and community representatives serve a two year term commencing on July 1 after each election and ending on June 30th two years hence.

Please join us at our regularly scheduled open meetings. There is time allotted at each open meeting for public comment as the LSC greatly appreciates input from our LaSalle family community.
