Alessa Ringo, LaSalle, 2011 Cross Country City Champion!
On Sunday October 29, 2011, our runners did extremely well. Alessa Ringo finished first in the city leading the one-mile long race from start to finish in 6 minutes 37 seconds. Mauria Oldham finished 3rd (6 min.41 seconds) ! The 5th/6th grade girls as a team won 2nd place!
In the 5th6th grade boys' race, Quinn Mitchell finished at place 16 (6 minutes 34 seconds) and Jonathan Cattan was 24th (6 minutes 52 seconds). In the 7th/8th grade race (1 miles and 1/2), Brittany Benjabeng place number 5 (9minutes 57 seconds). Maxwell Boettcher (9 minutes 37) and and Brandon Sanchez (10 minutes 34) finished not far behind the first 20. All our runners did their best and make LaSalle shine with gold, silver and bronze. Congratulations to our students and to our coaches Ms. Whitaker and Ms. Bueb!
